Copying the original image in a manner to bring out maximum detail, making repairs to any
damage, reducing fading or defects, with either negative retouch or positive artwork (In
most cases a combination of both is needed); resulting in a finished print that contains
he same photgraphic quality of the original. |

We have seen many jobs done and
presented as ``restorations" in which the true likeness and photographic quality of
the original has been lost through excessive retouching or over application of other art
media, i.e. airbrush, etc. Retaining this photographic quality is the most important
